Nickel

Nickel Sulphate is the key material used to produce cathodes for lithium-ion batteries.

The compound is highly used in Metal-finishing Applications of Electroplating, printing and dyeing industries. It is, however, 100 times more concentrated beneath the Earth’s crust than above. Nickel alloys are used by end-use industries such as aerospace & defense, chemical, electrical & electronics, oil & gas, energy & power, and automotive among others for functions such as high performance alloys, corrosion resistant alloys, electronic alloys, and heat resistant alloys.  The global nickel sulfate market is expected to cross US$ 8.82 Bn by 2031, expanding at a CAGR of 14.7% during 2021-2031 due to the high demand for the metal.
